Her travel career got on track when she joined EgyptAir as National Sales & Marketing Executive, affording her the opportunity to serve on the Star Alliance Marketing Council in South Africa.

She then moved into a National Sales Manager role for three large international airlines: Ethiopian Airlines, Finnair and Air New Zealand. In addition to this, she was also responsible for the sales strategies of a number of smaller, regional airlines. As Sales Manager, she managed to grow airline sales in the territory at a rate which was higher than the IATA average at the time.
