Steve_imgStephen has extensive experience in the airline, hospitality and corporate travel management sectors. Stephen has also held senior commercial positions in a variety of blue chip, global companies.

Stephen started his airline career with British Airways, where he led a number of global engineering and technical projects in Europe, Japan and the US. In each program Stephen led the cross-functional British Airways team and managed the supplier relationship. After a number of promotions, Stephen managed a team of 25 with a budget of £65 million. He also joined the Brand team that redesigned the On Board product.

Following British Airways, Stephen joined Comcast Europe as a Corporate Director, where he developed strategy and business improvements for the Comcast businesses across Europe -- working closely with the Philadelphia head office.

Subsequently, Stephen worked as the Operations Director for Hertz Leasing in Europe, again delivering business improvements on a pan-European scale. Then, he became  Director of Procurement for National Air Traffic Services, responsible for a team of 65 and an annual spend of £65 million.

Stephen has since worked as a business consultant for Marks and Spencer in the UK, Icelandair in Reykjavik, City Jet in Dublin, as well as  Air Italy in Milan.

Recently Stephen has worked as a Director for SunExpress in Antalya and Frankfurt. SunExpress is a Joint Venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines and he was a member of the Lufthansa Corporate Sourcing Team.

Stephen has just concluded a successful role as Procurement Director with Avis Budget EMEA.

A specialist in commercial contract strategy, negotiation and project implementation, Stephen has successfully delivered solutions and tangible benefits to businesses in a range of countries and cultures.

Stephen has an MBA from Nottingham Business School.
